This is my first and final post. These past months I have coveted your prayers and been encouraged and built up by your kind words. Unfortunately, I don’t exist.
The purpose of our endeavor was to illustrate the abject absurdity of the site SGMsurvivors.com. We hope that “Roy’s Story” will help you to see: You are willing to believe the worst in Sovereign Grace Ministries. What grace you have extended to SGM is not seventy times seven.
This can be clearly seen in the words and actions of the SGMSurvivors.com site owner Kris: who admits she had misgivings about Roy’s story from the outset. And yet this begs the question, if she doubted his story, why did she devote an entire post to establishing his validity? The answer is obvious: She wanted to believe Roy’s story. As did everyone who read it. If Roy’s story were true, “all their worst fears would be confirmed.” There are many stories that are not altogether too dissimilar to “Roy’s” that are posted on that site that are only partially verified. The Internet is the avenue for the coward. The Internet blog that records wrongs and gossips about other Christians are for people who lack the balls and ability to handle conflict in a biblical manner. It's used just to vent. We all wish you'd go to the driving range or do pottery or something.
We’re still looking in our Bibles for the passage that says, “If your brother sins against you, go and ruthlessly attempt to destroy his reputation.” You all obviously found it; please let us know where it is.
We had intended from the beginning to take Roy’s situation as far as it could possibly go until someone figured it out. We never thought it would’ve gone this far, though we had hoped it would culminate in Roy being assassinated by CJ himself. And there were times we were convinced you would believe it! It went on a lot longer and to greater lengths than we had ever imagined. This is a testament to your believing the worst in SGM.
Let every tear you shed for Roy be punishment for your shameful acts: an entire group of Christians devoting hours, days, and weeks of their lives to slandering, and defaming other Christians because of their perceived wrongs.
Unfortunately, your site can serve no constructive purpose due to it’s one sided nature. The key to resolving an issue is having complete and accurate information. Your site is nothing more than the diatribe of bitter individuals hurt because their Church was adopted by SG or that you didn’t agree with a counseling decision. Or perhaps your pet doctrine isn’t emphasized like you think it should be, or you’re sick of hearing about the cross, and you just don’t like talking about your sin so much. Unlike you guys, we're bowing out, we said our peace and this blog will not be maintained. We wont read your comments and we wont ever come back to your site.You are not interested in dialoging so we won't even try. If only one person uses the shock they feel about "Roy's" lack of existence to re evaluate just how far they will believe in SGM's evil, we'll be so grateful. We trust God will use this to cause change in those who read it
(Oh and as much as we like reading Anti SGM Satirist's stuff we are different entities. We both happened to run our Proxy Switchers through the same access point close to a SG church, Hey Anti- thanks for stealing our thunder. :) )

I laughed out loud. You hit pretty hard there "Roy." I was wondering how long it would take for someone to snap and pull something on these "I hate SGM" web sites. Overinflated view of self, that's what they are. Your strategy was a bit on the sneaky side, but humorous nonetheless.

I know you already told us the part of the story where CJ assassinates Roy, but could you fill us in on more details? It is too much of a cliffhanger.
What happened to Roy's wife? Kids? Did they refuse to leave SGM? Did Roy return the following week? What about that pastoral intern who tried to defend Roy? Did he ally with Roy in the future? How did CJ know Roy? What did Roy do to make CJ want to kill him? What was the murder weapon? Did other SGM leaders cover it up? How? Who reported all those details after Roy's death?
Like handicapped porn, you were offensive and creative. You were persuasive enough to deceive thousands of people.
I do not condone your lying to the thousands of readers. What I am saying is that you do have significant "entertaining" talents God gave you, and you used those talents for SIN ! The end does not justify the means!
Turn to God and ask Him to forgive you for lying, and to help you use your great talent for good!

I go to an SGM church, and have been called a kool-aid drinker, blind supporter, the works...
I hesitate to post this only because I am concerned that your perception will be that I am actually one of the bitter parties that comment on the various blogs, and am lashing out at you.
My guess is that you will take it as a bizarre compliment, that you "got under their skin."
But I cannot be responsible for your prejudices, and will speak plainly:
You have reinforced the perception that SGM is full of self-righteous, arrogant, closed-mided, assholes, because that's what you are.
You have undone a lot of bridge building that your brothers and sisters have spent much time to build to wounded parties.
I know good satire, and love it, but this is not good satire.(to paraphrase Bensten in 88)
It was ill conceived and poorly executed.
I hope that you are embarrassed and ashamed, because that would be appropriate, and that it leads to conviction and repentance.
You have sinned against many, many people. And, you should repent to them publicly.
I am embarrassed to be associated with you by our connection in SGM.
Please, please pray to God that He will speak to you about this, and ask Him if repentance (non-anonymous) is called for.

What a coward. It's funny that your scheme was found out before you were ready. You were able to disprove your own argument that the stories were not fact checked and helped make SGM look even worse than before.
Congratulations.
Please take a look at the bigger picture and how your fabricated story has effected many individuals. In my case your story was (what I thought at the time) helping me to make a decision concerning meeting with a pastor from my past SGM church. It was confirming suspicions that I had about sitting down to dinner with my family and this said pastor.
I don't feel that it was a very loving, kind-hearted, or Biblical way of trying to expose sin in others by sinning yourself. And the Bible clearly says not to lay stumbling blocks in front of your bothers. And for me I feel that you did that by lying like that. Its almost like you wanted to try to stir up bitterness (if said bitterness is actually there).
I personally don't like being jerked around like that. And I'm glad that I usually take everything with a grain of salt, especially on the internet. But had the time come to make a decision about whether to join my family in a meeting with my ex pastor, based off your story I would have paired it with my gut feeling and declined.
I am someone who wants to reconcile with my SGM church. At this point I do not feel called to be part of it anymore, yet I feel the burn of issues left unresolved. Please try and see how your blown up story of Roy might have been very damaging for others. I know that you've been taught how to be others focused, but can you apply it in this situation for once?

We still haven't heard the end of your story. All you said was that CJ assassinates Roy. Can't you just fill in the gaps a little here? You left us hanging and we want to know how Roy's story unfolds.
Like any good mystery novel, you have to have a motive and a murder weapon to make it believable. Can you at least fill us in on those?
